The newest addition to my drink-inspired line of cakes is probably my most beloved: Orange Blossom. I was the biggest Strawberry Shortcake fan when I was little (we are talking OG Strawberry Shortcake, yall - I had the lunchbox and everything), and while I loved SS, Orange Blossom always smelled the sweetest to me. Always. I’ve tried to capture that scent in the flavor of my orange blossom cake, using orange juice and pure vanilla. One bite and you’ll be flooded with images of summer and sunshine. The cake itself is bursting with fresh orange flavor, and the creamy vanilla frosting will remind you of getting those little cups of orange sherbet in kindergarten!
